Are You Albert?

This has got to be my most favorite of all stories from yesterday's outreach, and the shortest.

Our group met as usual, soaked, practiced our gift by speaking words over one another, waited on the Lord for clues, read them to one another, discerned through the clues, where God was wanting to send us, took off to the location.

Once there, we formed three teams and went our separate ways.

Back at the meeting place, during the time we read off the clues, we took special note of the duplicated clues. One in particular, a name... Albert. Two team members got the same name, not a common name either.

During each encounter we ask people their names and compare with those written on our lists.

Yesterday we found four people whose names matched those on our list!

However, we did not find Albert until we were ready to leave. We were just about to break and go to our separate cars.

The other leader and I were just remarking, "we did not find Albert", up walks a couple towards us, and R. calls out, "hey, is your name Albert"? Stunned the man says, "Yes, my name is Albert".

The group was stunned, Albert was stunned. Turns out he and his wife are believers, and apparently Treasure Hunting was unusual to them, they did let us bless Albert who just kept chuckling and laughing. He was amazed. We reinforced that he is God's treasure and sent us to him to personally to communicate that to him!

Timing, God is the master of timing. Remember, we were about to leave. The two people who had gotten the name separately had been on two different teams through out reach, we had only recently come back together with our respective teams. We both felt a conviction that we were really supposed to find this fellow, and lo and behold, God worked it out so we could!

All said, we do our best to keep our eyes open for those matching the clues written on our paper, but more important than that, we walk in a simple trust that God is in charge and is enabling us to find the Treasure's He is wanting to connect to through us.

Throughout the out reach, we counted at least 30 people who received some sort of ministry, sharing the gospel, blessings, words of destiny, prayer, encouragement, healing prayer, etc.

The first goal is to communicate God's love to the person who matches the clue, the Treasure, the second is to "discern what the Father is indicating we should release to the individual".

One group approached a woman who matched a clue which led to praying for a condition which matched another clue.

One clue opened the door to praying for three people wearing a T-Shirt with a heart on it.

My group spotted a young man wearing a T-Shirt with a large graphic design which formed a distinct heart shape. We stopped him and explained we were on a treasure hunt and that he matched one of the clues we were attempting to find. This led to sharing some prophetic ministry, which spilled over to his two friends. We prayed for each one, encouraged them according to the leading of Papa God.

We talked with a group of teenagers chatting on the sidewalk, seeds, the gospel planted.

We prayed for a man whose knee bothered him after working hours moving merchandise, we also encouraged him as led by the Holy Spirit.

A man who was sitting in a wheelchair allowed our team to pray for his injury due to a motorcycle accident, interesting to note, two team members had clues including a reference to motorcycles.

Each group managed to find many of the clues on the sheet. When we gathered back together, we compared notes. We were able to find a high percentage of the clues which filled the notebook sheet.

It's just a great day when at least 30 people come in contact with the Kingdom in the market place, Praise the Lord!

Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father".
