Three opportunites just going about my day!

Yesterday was amazing.

Two delivery men came early to bring our new washer and dryer. I sensed the Lord around one of them, then saw a vision of him singing in church. The other I got a word of knowledge for as well. I waited for the right time to bring up the topic of the vision and word.

The first fellow indeed is a believer, after I told him what the Lord showed me he opened up about his church, his love for singing. His partner went out to the car for parts, and while the first man and I stood in the kitchen, the HS fell very heavy on me. I began to pray and prophesy over this man, which he received. He was thankful, received the words, his partner came back, both left. The other was non english speaking, and though he received the words I gave, owning them so to speak, it was not possible to minister to him in any way given the circumstances.

After they left, I went to Home Depot for supplies. I got a word for a clerk I often see in the store. This time, I did not see him till I was on my way out. I had just prayed that if I was to "deliver" the word, R. would show up. Guess who came down the main isle as soon as I finished praying? Of course, R.

He greeted me, I told him I had a word for him. I shared it. He was greatly encouraged, we prayed standing next to one another, eyes open while customers passed. He was blessed with the word, on I went.

Next door is Sam's club where I went for groceries. I passed a fellow and heard the Lord give a word for him. I stopped, walked back to the man. I said "excuse me, are you a Christian?" "Yes" he said. I told him what the Lord whispered and he was surprised. I asked him if I could pray to bless him, he said yes. As I prayed the Lord continued to give me words of knowledge which I spoke out.

He was so surprised, he stomped his foot as an exclamation and said, (jokingly) are you a phsycic. I said no, that is the counterfiet. I have learned to listent to the in speaking of the Holy Spirit. And He just told me you are an engineer type. He explaned that he works in that field, he spent many years as a researcher, now he was developing product. He was stunned. He said this is so crazy.

I told him about 1 Cor 12, 13, 14. I told him to read the book of Acts. We continued to pray. Then we talked.

Aparently he was headed back to his country the next day to begin a system of water cleansing that would bring clean water to his country men. He was astounded that God would stop me to pray over his life, his business to flourish, and blessing over this venture. He also said his mother was about to start the second Methodist Church in his home country.

How amazing that God would meet this man the day before he leaves with such encouragement and blessing for the project. When we endeavor to do things for God, He watches out for us!

Yeah God!

Out Reach with Friends, Hindu feels the presence of God when prayer is released!

A few friends and myself went to a local store, The Big W, and sought out those needing prayer according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Both my partner and I got a leading to speak with a woman, L. As we talked we found out that she's a believer, her husband was not sure his job was secure and she was worried. We prayed for her, she hugged us and cried. She felt loved by the Lord, that He would send two strangers her way to pray.

Next we prayed for a couple, the man a marine was leaving soon to go board his ship on assignment. We prayed for them with his permission, the wife a believer the husband, not so much. We blessed him, prayed for his protection, his wife was moved.

Then we continued to walk the store, I got a leading to check out the shoe dept. We passed a few shoppers, came upon a woman who is Hindu. We asked her if she needed prayer for anything, yes was her reply. She was spotting and was four weeks pregnant. Though a Hindu, she allowed us to pray since she had studied Christianity in school! AS we prayed, I could feel and see the Lord resting on her. I asked her what she felt. She was surprised and said she felt "electric".

I told her that she had just experienced an encounter with the living God. With her daughter in the cart, 2 yrs. getting fussy, I encouraged her that at any time she could call on the Lord, and that He had just demonstrated He is indeed alive, His presence felt. She was appreciative and amazed. I trust God did a work and am believing this child will be born on time.

On the way out, I bumped into a friend of a friend. Neither she nor I live anywhere near the store where we were doing out reach. It was a divine appointment. We prayed for her two sons, just about to leave for a mission trip to Russia. What an opportunity to pray with K. She was blessed that God was looking out for her boys and her feelings of concern prior to them leaving on their trip.

God is so good.

WalMart Again

I was running through Walmart looking for a thing or two with little time to spare when I passed a woman who was scanning the card isle. I was not looking to talk with anyone actually, I was purposed to get in, get out of the store. But as I passed the shopper, I heard the Lord whisper, she loves to encourage people. I stopped right in my tracks and backed up. Ok, here we go.

I walked back to her and said "excuse me, I get the sense that you're a person who loves to encourage others" "ah, well yes" she replied. "How do you know that?"

"When I passed you, I heard the Lord whisper that to me, can I pray a blessing over you?"

She said yes, but was obviously surprised by the whole encounter. She became a little teary eyed as I prayed. Obviously God was encouraging her through the encounter.

Yeah God! Glad I stopped and obeyed the prompting of the HS.
