Seeing The Gold In A Person!

Following church, I ran into a large warehouse store. I shopped for a few groceries, the men at home were hungry!

I was called to by a young man handing out fudge samples as I walked past. "Did I want to try a slice of fudge" Sure I replied.

I looked up at his face and the Lord gave me a word of knowledge about the call on his life. I waited till there were few around and shared the revelation with him. The Lord showed me he was a believer, which I confirmed by asking. C. was intrigued and thanked me, his co-worker was annoyed, which happens. Just stay positive, bless the one with whom you have favor and move on.

I continued to shop, I passed a young man. The Lord told me in a word of knowledge,
"mighty man of valor". I do not normally use that language, and felt it was the Lord, but was it something to share. The Lord confirmed it by bringing us together in another part of the store.

His mother and sister were with him. I asked mom if she is a believer, she said yes. I asked her a question about her son having to do with something the Lord told me in the moment. She answered yes. I told her what the Lord had shared with me about her son, who was honored and built up. He stood straighter, came from around the cart and said, "I have to give you a hug"

The sister broke in and said "what about me?" I looked at her and the Lord gave me a revelation in the moment, which I spoke. She started to cry happy tears. I prayed for her since we have similar gifting in song.

I love calling out the gold in people, the things that God sees in them.

People know how they fail, where their sin is, yet when you call out their destiny or speak the Lord's heart to them, they rise to meet Him, the power of the chains fall away......

Let's endeavor to speak out words that bring life, hope, desire for God, change......

Selah.

The Team Is Seeing Increase!

Today eight Treasure Hunters showed up for out reach, though a few of our regular team members were out of town.

We spent time "soaking" in worship, praying over the team members, waiting on the Lord for clues, shared those clues with the group, then went out to the location best fitting the clues received.

In two and a half hours, we managed to find 48 people who were either highlighted in some way, or matched the clues we received in prayer. We prayed for most of them, only a few declined.

It is interesting to us when someone matching a clue, I mean, really matching a clue to the T, declines prayer. We know that God has picked them out, and of course we're thrilled to find them, especially bless and/or pray for them. Sometime, the Treasure declines. I appreciate God all the more. He continues to reach out to those who openly reject Him, His mercy, His grace is all the more amazing to me each time I witness this.

Today, most of the people we talked to allowed us to pray for them.

A few of our team members felt more bold than usual, something we attribute to the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. One young woman especially saw break through in this area.

Show up, allow God to flow, and He does. Fairly simple equation. We make it so difficult sometimes. Jesus raised up the disciples and before long, sent them out with the power of Kingdom. They did not have a four year ministry school degree, nor scads of books on modern evangelistic trends and tips.

Jesus anointing them and sent them off to do Kingdom ministry. And it happened.

I Asked God To Tell Me That Somehow This Morning.....

I turned into a local grocery store that I don't often shop, why, well, I was not completely sure other than I felt hungry for something that was not at home?

I went in, walked down the second isle, passed a woman and felt an overwhelming urge to turn around and tell her that Jesus really does love her.

I thought to myself, that is not a really profound message but the sense to turn around was strong. I obeyed.

I turned around. I went up to her and said "excuse me", I paused feeling a bit silly since the phrase is so over used...then I just decided to say it... now her face looked puzzled. "I just felt such a strong sense that I should turn around and come back and tell you that Jesus loves you"

She started to cry. She does not attend church but believes in God. She asked Him in the morning due to the difficult circumstances she finds herself in; "Do You really love me?"

She told me what was going on, I asked her if I could pray for her, place my hand on her shoulder, she replied yes. We prayed as a few shoppers passed us by.

Tears streamed down her face.

God is so loving, gentle, kind, compassionate, gracious......

God continues to amaze me with His love for His creation.

Are You Albert?

This has got to be my most favorite of all stories from yesterday's outreach, and the shortest.

Our group met as usual, soaked, practiced our gift by speaking words over one another, waited on the Lord for clues, read them to one another, discerned through the clues, where God was wanting to send us, took off to the location.

Once there, we formed three teams and went our separate ways.

Back at the meeting place, during the time we read off the clues, we took special note of the duplicated clues. One in particular, a name... Albert. Two team members got the same name, not a common name either.

During each encounter we ask people their names and compare with those written on our lists.

Yesterday we found four people whose names matched those on our list!

However, we did not find Albert until we were ready to leave. We were just about to break and go to our separate cars.

The other leader and I were just remarking, "we did not find Albert", up walks a couple towards us, and R. calls out, "hey, is your name Albert"? Stunned the man says, "Yes, my name is Albert".

The group was stunned, Albert was stunned. Turns out he and his wife are believers, and apparently Treasure Hunting was unusual to them, they did let us bless Albert who just kept chuckling and laughing. He was amazed. We reinforced that he is God's treasure and sent us to him to personally to communicate that to him!

Timing, God is the master of timing. Remember, we were about to leave. The two people who had gotten the name separately had been on two different teams through out reach, we had only recently come back together with our respective teams. We both felt a conviction that we were really supposed to find this fellow, and lo and behold, God worked it out so we could!

All said, we do our best to keep our eyes open for those matching the clues written on our paper, but more important than that, we walk in a simple trust that God is in charge and is enabling us to find the Treasure's He is wanting to connect to through us.

Throughout the out reach, we counted at least 30 people who received some sort of ministry, sharing the gospel, blessings, words of destiny, prayer, encouragement, healing prayer, etc.

The first goal is to communicate God's love to the person who matches the clue, the Treasure, the second is to "discern what the Father is indicating we should release to the individual".

One group approached a woman who matched a clue which led to praying for a condition which matched another clue.

One clue opened the door to praying for three people wearing a T-Shirt with a heart on it.

My group spotted a young man wearing a T-Shirt with a large graphic design which formed a distinct heart shape. We stopped him and explained we were on a treasure hunt and that he matched one of the clues we were attempting to find. This led to sharing some prophetic ministry, which spilled over to his two friends. We prayed for each one, encouraged them according to the leading of Papa God.

We talked with a group of teenagers chatting on the sidewalk, seeds, the gospel planted.

We prayed for a man whose knee bothered him after working hours moving merchandise, we also encouraged him as led by the Holy Spirit.

A man who was sitting in a wheelchair allowed our team to pray for his injury due to a motorcycle accident, interesting to note, two team members had clues including a reference to motorcycles.

Each group managed to find many of the clues on the sheet. When we gathered back together, we compared notes. We were able to find a high percentage of the clues which filled the notebook sheet.

It's just a great day when at least 30 people come in contact with the Kingdom in the market place, Praise the Lord!

14 Go Out To Location, At Least 20 Ministered To

Today, 14 of us gathered to "Treasure Hunt". There are so many stories, some I was present to see, others I only heard about.

Just out of our cars, we saw two young men walking our way, one wearing brown shorts, matching a clue. Two of our guys walked up to the young men, immediately one said yes, I have pain in my abdomen, which left after we prayed for him a couple of times. (Sometimes pain leaves in stages, it is good to press in and continue to pray for continued healing)

The first young man matched several clues. Brown pants, three rings (on shirt), the number three (again referring to the three rings on his shirt), International House of Pancakes ( They'd just came from an IHOP conference, we went to this location since there is an IHOP restaurant onsite, is that too fun) parking lot, (we found them in the parking lot) Hot sun, (the sun was shining bright on us, most often we find people in places, so two clues told us we'd find people outside), we were standing near palm trees (another clue).

We showed this young man all the clues he matched which amazed him and demonstrated how intentional God was in leading us to him. We prayed for his healing, which came.

Then we looked at his friend and said are you wanting the same prayer of blessings and impartation? "Yes" he said! Tears fell from his eyes. He stepped forward, I noticed he had braces on his teeth. I asked him if he had problems with his mouth, braces, teeth. "Yes" he said, "Someone bumped my cheek and now three teeth are loose" We prayed....... Yup..... Jesus put those teeth in tight, he checked, discovered they were no longer loose, he was amazed.

We prayed and prophesied over him as well, both young men were rocked by the Holy Spirit!

After leaving them, we split into a few groups. This is where it is difficult to share all the stories, but they are all good!

Three young men were approached and were spoken to about the gospel. A family with a white dog was prayed for, the white dog being the identifying clue. Another fellow passed us with a blue and white sports uniform, we approached him and told him he is God's treasure, he said he knew about Jesus but was not walking strong, we prayed, he received. We prayed for an older man who was driving a car with a crystal ball hanging from the rear view mirror, he also walked with a cane which matched a clue. We prayed for a young woman with a black and white checked shirt/dress, also matching a clue.

We prayed for a woman who matched several clues. Beauty Shop, Sally, watermelon, angel rally monkey.

We prayed for A. who approached us on a sidewalk, his job is to hand out flyers for his store. Another woman in a grocery store fit the visual profile of another clue, she received prayer. A young man got healing in his wrist as a result of prayer. Another young woman repeated the prayer of salvation in front of her clues, she also matched a clue.

We prayed for a woman who does not speak much English, fortunately one of our team members could speak her language. We stopped to talk with her since she was wearing a shirt with feathers that matched a clue. She was out of work and going through a divorce. We prayed for two women shopping together, they were both eager for prayer, one lost a loved one, the other had a niece with breast cancer needing prayer.

So many needs, A great Big God who is eager to meet people out in a parking lot and bring His Kingdom into their lives through a band of everyday people.

We prayed for more than I can recount since the team fanned out over the entire shopping center.

It was an awesome day! Yeah God!

Cancer Healed In The Market Place!!!

Just getting word today that a woman prayed for earlier this summer who had a cancerous tumor, who received prayer on the beach during an out reach, is reporting her cancer is gone!

One of our team members spotted a co-worker during an out reach with a church in Newport Beach. We approached her, told her what we were doing, she agreed to receive prayer, the Holy Spirit came upon her powerfully.

She did not tell us what the condition was, but we were sure God had done something!

Today we find out that she eventually underwent surgery for the cancerous tumor which was discovered to be cancer free when they got to it!!!!

Yeah God!!!!

Cancer gets healed on the beach!

Team Of Fifteen Spread Out In Two Locations In Long Beach

Recently our team traveled to Long Beach. We "soaked" in God's presence for a while, prayed for one another, waited quietly in prayer in order to receive clues for the treasure hunt.

We read off the clues from each prayer taking note of duplicate clues. We focused on location clues and realized God was sending us to two locations. We broke into teams and off we went.

One team went into a pet store and immediately saw a man by the fish tanks. Two people had gotten a clue about fish, so we followed the man into another isle. He stood by the bird cages which was another clue. We stopped to talk with him, we eventually prayed for him, the Lord came on him powerfully, we was very grateful for the prayer.

Two teams met up together, we wandered the store and literally bumped into two young men matching a clue, "skate boarders". They were each holding skate boards. We talked with them eventually two of their friends walked up who joined the conversation. Turns out one of them had been talking to his friend about Jesus, he was glad to see us come and do the same. We asked two of them if they had ever had an encounter with the God, they said no. We pulled them into an isle and began to pray for them. Soon they were feeling something. One swayed and one began to shake his hands, his eyes fluttered. We told them they had just experienced the presence of God, then asked if they wanted to accept Jesus, both said yes!!!!!! We led them in prayer and encouraged them to listen to their friend who was available to help them understand the decision they had just made. We commissioned L. to disciple these new believers!

Our team members found many people matching the clues we had received earlier praying for people in two locations. It was a great day.

People encountered the presence of God, allowed us to pray and speak positively into their lives. The love of God was demonstrated in power, seeds were planted.

It's all good, planting, watering and harvesting!

25 People Found In Less Than Two Hours!

Last weekend we found 25 people to pray for who for the most part matched clues we received from the Lord prior to our leaving to minister in the market place.

Two young women accepted Jesus in a dress store. Many were blessed, encouraged, prayed for according to their needs.

One woman, a buddhist received prayer. She matched clues, we showed her the paper asked if we could pray in any way for her. She said yes, she would be taking another test within days to confirm possible breast cancer. We prayed for her in the isle of a craft store. We gave her a card to a local healing room and encouraged her to come visit us for more prayer.

One young college student was prayed for who worked in a shop matching a clue. She is a believer who works with church youth. She had never heard of this type of out reach, but allowed for us to pray. She was really touched and stretched by such ministry in public. We prayed for her ministry, her school studies, and her immune system which was down due to exposure to sickness in the young children she was watching as a nanny.

Two young women accepted the Lord in a dress shop in the center we were directed to by clues the Lord gave us. They were overwhelmed by the out pouring of God's love, prophetic ministry which accurately spoke into their lives. They had a casual understanding of God through their mother, but due to the encounter, decided it was time to give their life to the Lord! wahoo!

All in all, six of us broke into pairs and managed to pray for 25 people in less than 2 hours.

We followed God's lead through the clues He gave us ahead of time, and in the moment as He highlighted people along the way.

It's a blast to follow His lead, it never gets old!

Timing Is In The Hands Of The Lord

Our team went out to a local department store in search of our "Treasures". We split into two groups. One headed over to the garden department.

Just inside the garden section stood a cashier whose name matched one of names on our clues! We talked with her, explaining that she was the treasure we were here to bless her.

She was surprised and not sure how to take our announcement at first. Then we discovered while talking with her that she matched a second clue. She looked at out sheet and began to realize that the Lord had actually set this up on her behalf.

She agreed for us to bless her, specifically pray for her daughters. She explained a little then one of our team members began to pray and wow, up walks one of her daughters who just happened to drop by mom's work place!!!!

We were stunned at the timing. We explained to the daughter who was with her daughter, an elementary school aged child. She was amazed and taken aback. She was distant from the Lord and was not sure in the moment how to take what was happening. She received the encouragement but needed to leave to purchase an item for her daughter.

After the woman and her daughter left, the grandmother, our original contact, became teary eyed. She had just witnessed a demonstration of God's love and power, an answer to her prayers for her daughter. We were all impacted.

I love seeing God move. I love seeing God demonstrate His Kingdom love to people!
Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father".
