At The Checkout
So my husband and I are in the check out lines at Costco, which are long and a young cashier runs up to us and says, is this all you are purchasing? Yes we say, come with me he replies. He takes us to the checkout inside the tobacco cage.
He begins to check out our groceries, and as he does, I can feel the Holy Spirit all around him from the other side of the check out stand. When he is finished checking the groceries through, I pay, then ask him, are you a believer? He replies yes, with a puzzled look.
I tell him, well, from this far away, I am perceiving the Holy Spirit all around you. He was surprised, I shook his hand, and prayed a quick blessing over him. He was stunned. I came around the other side of the check stand, in the tobacco cage you have to do so to leave the enclosure. As I passed him he bent into me and said how much he needed the encouragement and prayers. I gave him a hug, and then he told me that several months ago he lost his son who grew to 7 months in the womb and then died. He said that he loves God, has been going to church but just felt so empty inside.
I told T. I would continue to pray for him since he had a new customer to check.
I cried outside of Costco. I told him this is why I am so passionate about market place evangelism. The look on T.'s face, and the genuine thanks for taking the time to bless him with prayer and encouragement says it all.
Market place ministry is incredible once you become available to the Holy Spirit for active duty!
Yeah God!

Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
John 14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father".
